Al-Safar Congratulates on the Success of the Formula 1 Race

Mr. Adel Al-Safar, Chairman of the Al-Safar Group, extended his heartfelt congratulations and warm greetings to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the Kingdom, may God protect and preserve him, and to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, on the successful completion of the 2025 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix Formula 1 races. This event continues to highlight the Kingdom's status as a leading destination for hosting large-scale international sporting events with the highest standards year after year.
Al-Safar noted that the Kingdom of Bahrain has been able to lead and achieve excellence in various fields, including sports, becoming one of the countries that professionally hosts this race annually with the efforts of its young Bahraini workforce, which enhances Bahrain's global reputation in motorsport.
He added that hosting such global events provides young people and students with the opportunity to learn about the latest technologies employed and how the efforts of engineers, technicians, and organizers integrate. It inspires them to enrich their knowledge and motivates them to be creative in science and technology. He emphasized that the positive reputation Bahrain accumulates each time it hosts this event encourages collaboration and opens avenues for partnership between international educational and training institutions and their counterparts in Bahrain.
Al-Safar expressed his gratitude and appreciation to everyone who contributed to the success of this global event, and to those in charge of the Bahrain International Circuit for their valuable efforts in providing the suitable environment for this event. He confirmed that such achievements enhance the pride of every Bahraini citizen in belonging to this generous nation, which stands as a beacon of progress and a symbol of accomplishment in all fields.

BENEFIT, the Kingdom’s innovator and leading company in Fintech and electronic financial transactions service, has sponsored the BuildHer CityHack 2025 Hackathon, a two-day event spearheaded by the College of Engineering and Technology at the Royal University for Women (RUW).
Aimed at secondary school students, the event brought together a distinguished group of academic professionals and technology experts to mentor and inspire young participants.
More than 100 high school students from across the Kingdom of Bahrain took part in the hackathon, which featured an intensive programme of training workshops and hands-on sessions. These activities were tailored to enhance participants’ critical thinking, collaborative problem-solving, and team-building capabilities, while also encouraging the development of practical and sustainable solutions to contemporary challenges using modern technological tools.
